I have been Professor of Biblical Studies at Taylor University in Upland, IN since 2019. My PhD is in Hebrew Bible and Ancient Near Eastern Studies from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, CA. My MA in Biblical Studies and MA in Christian Thought are from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in Charlotte, NC. My BA in Journalism is from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

I live with my husband Mark and our four kids, Verity, Rinah (rhymes with Tina), Kellen and Finn, in Muncie, IN. In my free time, I can be found playing softball and basketball with my kids, running, exploring cities, museums and state parks throughout the midwest, going to Cincinnati Reds games, and burning frozen pizza.
